A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria da Cidadania (Secid) e da Secretaria da Saúde (SES), realizou, na segunda-feira (9), no Centro de Referência em Assistência Social (Cras) Cajuru, um encontro com moradores para tratar da temática da campanha Fevereiro Vermelho. A iniciativa, que é nacional, alerta sobre os perigos do uso excessivo de álcool e outras drogas. No dia 20 de fevereiro, é celebrado o Dia Nacional de Combate às Drogas e ao Alcoolismo.
O objetivo da ação estratégica intersetorial entre o Caps AD “Roda Viva” e o Cras foi de sensibilizar famílias em situação de vulnerabilidade social, acompanhadas pelo PAIF (Programa de Atenção Integral à Família), do Centro de Referência em Assistência Social, abordando a prevenção e alertando sobre os riscos decorrentes do uso e abuso de álcool e outras drogas.
Para isso, uma palestra socioeducativa focou na prevenção e no diálogo, destacando a importância da busca por ajuda precoce e o fortalecimento da rede de apoio socioassistencial e de saúde, com ênfase na atuação do Caps e do Cras.
Atualmente, o município de Sorocaba possui dois Caps AD III (“Roda Viva” e “Saca Só”) que realizam atendimentos para transtornos mentais graves e persistentes decorrentes do uso de álcool e outras drogas. As unidades atuam na construção de um Projeto Terapêutico Singular (PTS) para cada usuário, sendo assim considerado a individualidade e necessidade de cada usuário no tratamento ofertado.
